David Hunter’s forensic expertise is known far beyond the UK. What starts as a scientific visit turns into a race against time. And again, the expert is deeply involved; it seems as if he can’t stay away from a case, no matter where he is. As if he’s drawn to it like the blowflies to human remains. All caution is thrown overboard, and the hunt for the serial killer begins.
Letting the forensic knowledge flow into the writing makes this story much more authentic and interesting to read, despite the sometimes gruesome topic. I have already begun the next book in line. Can’t wait to find out how David Hunter overcomes the always lurking ghosts from his past. And what type of case he has to encounter. I only know that it will be a gripping one, with maggots crawling all over the place.
