This was devastating. All of it. Everything went wrong the whole time (Saffron makes some really bad decisions for someone who’s supposedly well trained 🙈) and nothing is right in the end. 🥲 And I feel that after one book we only just scraped the surface of this story.
But I still loved every page of this book. This world was so lush and full of wonderous and fantastical ideas. The pleasure and pain aspects of the magic system, the Timeweaving, Levan and his powers and Saffron and her special quirk, Rasso (❤️)… All of it had me flying through the pages.
I feel like this world has so much potential and I’m excited to see a lot more of it in the future.
