The cover of this book completely misled me. What begins as a mysterious adventure suddenly becomes a crime with a mystical touch. Ann Stillwell was first a shy personality, searching for work. Working at the Gothic museum is far from her first choice. Finding a lost deck of tarot cards sparks an interest in Ann to find out more about it. At this point, Ann begins to take charge. She left the shy part behind in the first part of the book. This new version fits her better.
I would have liked a more in-depth introduction to Tarot cards in general. As this story is about Tarot, I found the focus not enough. Maybe some more historical background would have rounded up the story nicely.
