I really liked Alchemised’s writing style. The world-building, magic system and characters are amazing, and I liked that the war felt brutal and real. The book ripped out my heart, put it back in, broke it, then healed it again. I’m sure I’ll be thinking about this book for a long time. ❤️🩹
I hadn’t read anything about the book beforehand, and I was so surprised by how the story turned out! The love story is also really unique. 🥹
The only reason I can’t give this book 5 stars is that it’s just too long. In the middle part especially, I felt like nothing was happening in terms of the plot, and the events were kind of repetitive. With a few hundred fewer pages, this book would be perfect. 🥹❤️
