Wow… what a ride! I absolutely love it. The characters are incredible, and I’m constantly worried about their safety. New, fascinating characters come along, and I love how we explore the universe of this story alongside them, trying to figure out what is happening to it. Are they all doomed? I don’t know, but I do know I have to keep reading! Caliban’s War, Book 2 of The Expanse series, is amazing. It is very well written, and the characters have such a sharp, compelling edge. I also like that the characters from Book 1 are still present in Book 2, and you can really tell that what they went through has not magically vanished from their behavior or experiences. Quite the opposite. It has shaped them, and it makes them act differently than before because of everything they have endured. This makes them feel so real, and I can’t stop rooting for them. Pick it up, guys. Be patient as you enter this world, because with each chapter and each book, more and more will be unraveled. So far, it’s worth the trip. There are still more books to go in the series, and I am excited and completely hooked!
