I - hm - wow. This was one of the worst books I’ve ever read. Was I still entertained? Yes.
The amount of times the smut had me laugh out loud or go ew,ew,ew… it was a lot.
The setting sounded promising. The writing was horrible, so so edgy and cringe. Corvina with her purple eyes and detailed descriptions of her outfits was giving “My Immortal”.
The MMC keeps telling us he’s so dangerous and whatnot but nothing ever happens. Again, cringe. Oh, his name - Vad - means untamed. Oof.
The only interesting part was that murder mystery but the way it was solved was so incredibly silly! I did not see that weird drug coming!🤣
It’s like I’ve read some kind of Fanfic with all the spelling errors and the unedited story.
It definitely was an experience. The German version is looking very pretty on my bookshelf, so that’s something.
