It all begins when Alice’s parents reveal they can no longer afford her tuition at an elite private school. Desperate to stay, Alice is forced to find a way to earn money. Using her new ability, she begins exposing her classmates’ secrets for a price. But when the secrets turn darker than she ever imagined, Alice must decide whether she’s already gone too far to turn back.
I absolutely loved Alice as a character. She’s smart, complex, and beautifully written. As the story unfolds, she slowly comes to realize just how lonely she’s been all along.
I’m usually not a fan of sci-fi but the cover really spoke to me and I fell in love with it from the very first page.
