What I love about Claire Douglas is that you get a full package, more than an ordinary crime novel. That’s always clear from the start. And that the introduction only tells you a fraction of what you will encounter during reading. The only two things the reader doesn’t know is what and when. Those two questions always drive me on; the eagerness to find out begins as soon as I have read the first few pages. Always hard to take a break because it’s so gripping. As if closing the book would lead to missing something important.
I never get bored of the author’s style of writing. I like the mix of crime and terrific suspense.
