Promising start, eerie graveyard scenes, amazing characters and great set-up but a lack of conviction to make it into this weird, niche novella the cover suggests. The horror elements get overexplained, spontaneous conversations are filled with unnecessary information and the plot is being spelled out to make sure no reader misses the connections. It’s such a short book, I think it should have been way weirder.
