I read this book as part of a reading group - or at least tried to read it. Unfortunately, the book left me cold. The author must have lacked imagination for this work. The story takes place in the year 2057 in England, more precisely in the lost city of Oxford (seriously?). The protagonist has clairvoyant abilities and was captured one evening after working for a criminal gang. I didn’t get much further as the story was just too boring for me. I tried to listen to the rest of the book in audiobook format, but the boring dialogues were a horror even then. To cut a long story short: I do not recommend this book.
