When Bel was 2 years old, her mother, Rachel Price, dissapeared and Bel was found in her car, unharmed and babbling . The case remains a mystery, since it seemed like Rachel really vanished into thin air. Now Bel is 18 and her father is everything to her, so of course she agrees to the documentary about the family and Rachels vanishing. And then Rachel is back. Was this well planned or pure coincidence?
Holly Jackson just got a new fan. I was not able to put this book down at all and devoured it in 2 days. I loved how she was able to build up such a tension in Bels house and every time I thought Bel close to solving this whole thing, something else happens! Some things might have been forseeable but I didn’t mind at all, because the characters and especially the dynamic between Bel and Ash was just so much fun to read. The ending might have been a little crazy though, it felt a bit too much. But I still loved it!
I’ll go now and read Holly Jacksons other books. 🕵
