I loved the first book in this series, so I was very excited for the second - and I wasnât disappointed! â¤ď¸ I would give this book 4.5 Stars âď¸ I canât guarantee that this review will not spoil the first book, so donât read it if you havenât read the first book.
While the first book followed Oraya in the Kejari, the second book follows Oraya and Raihn as they lead their kingdom. This book has a lot more world building and politics. Itâs a slow burn again, but it gets really hot once they stop hiding their true feelings. Throughout the story we learn a lot about Raihnâs past and Orayaâs family history. Many questions from the first book were answered and came to a nice conclusion.
The wars and politics were a bit hard to follow at times - a lot of magic, power and gods coming together at once - you really feel like you are in the middle of the carnage.
The book really sums up the story of Oraya and Rhain and I loved reading it. I am looking forward to dive into the world of Nyaxia again and follow another main character đ
