Orc Lady Viv has enough of hunts, fights and deaths. So she decides to pack her stuff, move and finally settle down and open a coffee shop. Problem is, no one really knows about this weird “bean water” she wants to serve to the townsfolk. It is not going to be easy, but with the help of new friends she might be able to build something new and meaningful.
Reading this, I thought “Oh my, I never thought I would root for an Orc and Succubus to get together, yet here I am”. It was such a wonderful story, perfect for people who love High Fantasy but want a break from fights and adventures. Not saying that this book is just coffee making and pastry serving! It warmed my heart in such a sweet way that I hardly was able to put it down. The romance part itself was so very gentle, I enjoyed reading how Viv and Tandri slowly got closer. The friendships that were made were just as important and showed Viv that she can be more than just a violent Orc.
I loved every page of it and can recommend it to Fantasy Fans and Slice-of-Live enjoyers.
