To be honest, I’m a little disappointed. The blurb really appealed to me, although I’m not really a fan of friends-to-lovers. But I had somehow imagined something exciting about the connection between Nathan as a sportsman and Bree as a ballerina. I think the writing style is very good because English is not my first language and I liked the jokes in the book, but… somehow everything was predictable and somehow I couldn’t understand Bree’s actions. I really like romantic books, but if it seems “too easy” to me, I lose interest in reading on. There was only limited suspense, so I mainly enjoyed the funny scenes. I therefore recommend this book for anyone who likes “simple” love stories. This was also the first book by Sarah Adams and although I’ve read a lot of positive things about her books, it didn’t quite convince me.
