In my opinion, Holly Gibney deserves to get her own story. So far she has more or less had a supporting role and in this book, Stephen King has brought her to life. The character has been given more depth, anyone who has found Holly unimpressive will change their mind after this one. The little grey mouse develops into a strong personality.
I am very impressed by the story itself, even if it quickly becomes clear where the plot might lead. Nevertheless, it was interesting to follow how the individual storylines develop, and the time jumps contribute to this.
Let’s hope that this is not King’s last work.
