A Fig tree tells a story...

        von Katharina_eReaderin

I must admit, again I bought this book because I love the cover and the title. But I grew to love its content as well. One of the Narrators of this novel is a Fig tree, it tells us the story of Cyprus and how the Island got divided and the war that came with it. The other story is about a Ada, a teenager who lives with her Greek father in London. She recently lost her Mother. Her Parents are both from Cyprus, her father Greek and her mother Turkish. When Adas aunt visits them out of the blue she learns about the story of her parents and the loss they both suffered. It is a great story and so well written. We learn allot about Cyprus and also about Fig trees.
