Fable

When Fable was 13 she was abandoned by her father on an island barely anyone has ever managed to leave again. But she is determined to get back to the mainland and to her father… The experience I had with this book was like the sea. Sometimes wild, fast and stormy, sometimes calm, beautiful and sparkly, but always moving and full of mysteries. Every character we meet seems to have a million untold secrets and can‘t be trusted. Still you can‘t help but like some of them. At the beginning I also was a little afraid there was gonna be a love story that‘d take up most of the space but there wasn‘t. Still there‘s love of all kind. I‘m excited for the second part.

Set in a maritime world, Fable is a gripping tale of survival, treasure and a little bit of love! It is an action packed tale centering around 17 year old Fable and her determination to reunite with her father, who abandoned her as a child. She is intelligent, strong willed and only lives by the the five rules that her father made her memorize at a young age! Overall this book has a wonderful crew of characters and an engaging story! The fantasy and romance elements are fine threads that are woven carefully between the pages without overshadowing the storyline.
