This book presents an extremely detailed explanation of European history of the first half of the twentieth century! I warmly recommend it to anyone interested in European political movements and beliefs.
The author explains sucessively how disagreements led up to the first World War and how the desperation and social changes of the European people paved the way for extreme political movements culminating in the Second World War. I especially liked the way the author explains how every country had their own difficulties and struggles during this very though period in history. He also mentions a few very intersting individuals that didn’t have a leading role in history but nevertheless deserve a place in historical memory!
