So, after INHALING book one and two, the third book was a no brainer. I had to read it. An although I think it is the weakest of the three so far, it is again a masterpiece from Matt Dinniman. Yes, the Iron Tangle is complicated as hell and yes, we did not get so much of Carls feet, but the personal relationships are getting much deeper in this book. Let the action and gore aside, we see much more emotions, we learn more about Borant and about the motives of some of the crawlers. But some of the game mechanics are not new anymore and I really hope, we get something new in the next book. The first half is harder to read than the second half, but especially in the end, you get again all those WTF IS HAPPENING moments as we are used to from Carl and Princess Donut.
