The conclusion that leaves no question unanswered, it has left me with a satisfactory feeling. In all three books, the family has gone through many troubles and insecurities; sometimes, they were lost in nowhere, their path unclear. Until they were back to their truest self, a family that went through bad and worse, ready to build their future anew.
Sometimes you have to separate to find your way back together again, even if the decision seemed cruel at that point. In my opinion, the few main characters seemed even stronger in this last part. Maybe it’s because each of them had to deal with hard circumstances. Children had to grow up fast and take responsibility, where others under normal circumstances wouldn’t have to. The author did a good job in developing those protagonists, showing how they grew in character and personality.
