Stephen King knows how to create scenarios that make you feel uncomfortable, to feel the fear the characters are feeling. Being on the run all the time, never actually feeling save no matter where you are or how good you are hiding.
And he also knows how to write characters that will make your stomach churn. Rainbird was one of those and sometimes I genuinly wish I could forget this creepy, insane man.
I love the themes around psychic powers that you can often find in his works and I really enjoyed Firestarter a lot.
And In my humble opinion, I have to say that King’s old books are so much better!
