And we’re back to not liking this series. The miscommunication trope killed everything this book had going for it. To render half of the plot useless because they didn’t speak to each other is a crime against my unread books that I could have been reading instead. Also, that miss „I outsmart the entire Faerie Kingdom in the blink of an eye“ didn’t understand what was going on is another plot hole I cannot overlook. And then she lost me irrevocably with the snake thing.
This series got a lot of love and some mesmerizing fan art (which made me buy the books in the first place) and I love that for the books and the author. But I fear I won’t be joining the club. Sorry.
