I don’t know what to think. But that’s good? I guess?
I recommend listening to the audiobook while reading, as it can be confusing due to the many different characters and dialogues without quotation marks and the sophisticated, and sometimes difficult language.
In general, this is a book where you have to trust the process. But it’s good (I think), at least it stays in mind for a while. And I think that’s the purpose of this book: to raise questions rather than answer them. Who are we, in the end? Is there really such a thing as good and evil? Or are we simply the way we are? Should we judge? Who should judge whom, and by what standards? What happens after death? Is there something after death? Who decides what that looks like? God? Or each person for themselves? When does it end?
