The newlyweds Evelyn (a minor English writer) and Laura (a wealthy American heiress) decide spending their honeymoon in Venice. What looked like the epitome of love and romance turns into a nightmare as the town’s nocturnal atmosphere unveils. The story is told from the perspective of the groom, an unreliable narrator suffering from a hangover. The reader must gather the pieces and try to solve this horror mystery by themselves. Disturbing, creepy and (spoiler alert) deeply violent. This is not a travel guide to Venice.
