Kelley Armstrong is one of my favourite authors, and this book is one of the reasons.
The main character, Maya, is unlike any other main character I’ve ever encountered in YA, which was very refreshing. The way she thinks and acts feels very unique, which leads the typical YA romance- and mystery-story in a new and very interesting way.

- Supernatural elements
- Mystery & thrill
- Navajo heritage, it was very interesting learning a bit about that culture through the story
- Animals and how they take care of fledlings, which I found great!
Definitely recommend it to Supernatural YA Story fans that look for fresh wind!
