The Hero of Ages… I have no idea where to start. In the previous books (Mistborn and The Well of Ascension), I had some trouble getting back into the story, grasping it again, and being fully immersed. This one took me in right from the start. Was it because the other two books did the groundwork? I don’t know, but I enjoyed it greatly.
I do not have much to complain about in this one. It has a few loose ends, and I still have some questions, but overall, this book made me laugh, cry, worry, and wonder how this would all end. Will the sun shine again on this world, or will it fall into eternal darkness?
Absolute recommendation. This book is my favorite of the whole trilogy, and they are amazing as a complete story. Brandon Sanderson, you got me hooked on your work, and I am looking forward to diving further into your literary world.
