This was a fun and simple read, nothing more and nothing less. I didn’t expect much from this book, and that is exactly what it delivered, a light and entertaining experience. I listened to the audiobook, and the narration was amazing. The narrator had such a unique and rich voice, and it was so fun to listen along to the story. The spice itself was a bit cringe at times, but it still made me laugh a lot because the author did a good job writing it as a fun experience. The characters are simple, the plot is simple, and it is easy to predict what will happen, but despite that, she still did a great job. If someone is looking for a fun romantasy read with no expectations, no complicated plot, and easy, likeable characters, this book is a good pick.
