The boy from the sea is a quiet novel about identity and family in an Irish community.
It talks about the jealousy between brothers; the undeniable love within family; the fight for money and it’s impact on children / the community.
Even though the book never had me hooked completely it was a very nice read and I never knew what to expect from the next chapter. I really enjoyed reading this book and can recommend it to someone who does not need something gripping.
