First of all, I would give this book 4.5 stars 💛
It took me a while to get into the book because there are a lot of people introduced and also some world building which was a bit confusing for me. But after the first 60 pages I was totally into the story and loved Kierse and Graves.
The story is quite fast paced, packed with information of all kinds, it was exciting to the end. I really liked the magic system, the different monsters/creatures and the politics in the book.
The chapters are short and the book is divided into different parts. Each part ends with an interlude from a different character, which I liked.
The ending was a bit rushed, but I enjoyed it anyway and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
