Not sure if Rebecca F. Kuang and I have the same type of humour or if she is just straight up hilarious. This book was witty, satire but still quite dark. The writing was so fluent and natural to me that it felt so easy and I practically breezed through every page. At some point I just needed to know how it’s going to end. Will the secret be revealed? How is it going to affect Junie? Big GASPS and OH MY GOSH-es from my side at every page and tears running down my face from laughter. The perfect summer read.
