I was afraid, that the second book of this duology was going to be weaker than the first one. Little did I know…
I find the story-setting of the first book much more interesting because it was mysterious and thrilling. But I’m actually quite thankful, that Tricia Levenseller decided not to strech the first situation into a second book because that would have been very boring. Instead she wrote this absolute masterpiece that takes the reader onto a dangerous and nerve-wracking journey to find a treasure whose map was discovered in the first book. Long story short: The setting was perfect for a sequel.
