For a while, Holly lived her dream and enjoyed it to the fullest until she couldn’t take it any more.
Despite that glossy candy pink cover, it was the title that had caught my eye. I had already seen a documentary about Hefner’s bunnies, but from a different point of view. I thought maybe this book would show me the other side of the coin, as there are always two sides involved. And every side should have their chance to express themselves, that’s exactly what Holly Madison does in this book. How it was behind the mansion’s walls, let’s go with her, down the rabbit hole and find out.
I started this book with great interest, the story reads very clearly and without sugarcoating, something I liked from the start. But the more the story progressed, my earlier enthusiasm wore off more and more. What began very promising developed into a monotonous bland account. Nevertheless, there is a happy end and the bunny has finally found her fairy tale.
