I have never read as many memoirs as I did so far in 2023 and they just keep getting better and better.
Since Crying in H Mart got much praise, I was really looking forward to picking it up (as an audio book). Crying in H Mart really deserves the good reviews it received.
In her memoir, Michelle Zauner deals with the loss of her mother and her experiences of grief. It is hard to write about such experiences, but I think Zauner found exactly the right words.
It is an intimate and raw book and I am deeply impressed by it.
