The plot of this story centers around two strong women and their journey to empowerment. Despite living in two different eras, they are brought together by the same stately manor “The Magnolia Palace”.
It’s been a little over a year since I have read this book and yet I have a vivid memory of it. The author does a marvellous job in creating a sense of the place. The two heroines are enchanting and lovely. I felt an immediate connection to both of them. Highly recommend it.
