In acting, as in life, you try to pretend you don’t have favorites, but usually you do, and usually everyone else can see it too. I wrote this book because, luckily for me, my favorite was also a character beloved by fans and, in my opinion, represents the time I felt I was at my absolute best as an actor.
I decided to read this book, because last year I fell in love with Gilmore Girls and after watching the whole series, I longed for more. So, I was pretty excited when I discovered that Lauren Graham wrote an autobiography.
Talking as Fast as I Can was such a pleasure to read. I was sick at the time, but thanks to this book I felt a little bit better.
This book feels like sitting down in a nice café together with Lauren Graham, drinking good coffee while she tells you stories of her life.
As a huge Gilmore Girls-Fan I would have loved to get deeper behind the scenes insights, but I, of course, understand that Lauren Graham’s life does not only consist of Gilmore Girls.
I think everyone who appreciates her work as an actor will enjoy Talking as Fast as I Can.
